Smart contract development and audit in Luxembourg

Are you looking at tokenising an asset, automating a contract or tracing a process on a blockchain? A deployed smart contract cannot be fixed like an application: a logic error can lock funds or expose your users.

From Luxembourg, Deepy Consulting supports you end to end: scoping, development, audit and integration of your smart contracts, on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains as well as on private blockchains such as Hyperledger Besu. Our team has delivered token issuance and asset tokenisation projects, as well as decentralised identity management built on decentralised identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials. Antoine Detante, our blockchain architect, leads your projects. Engagements start at €5,000 excl. VAT.

How it works, step by step

  1. Scope before we code

Not everything belongs on a blockchain. We first check what it brings to your case: who needs to trust whom, which data must stay private, what transaction cost is acceptable. Then we choose the chain, public or private, and the contract’s governance.

What you get: a scoping note: whether a blockchain is warranted, the choice of chain, the target architecture and the risks identified.

  2. Develop and test the contract

Solidity on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains, with tests that cover the edge cases and not just the happy path. Every sensitive function (transfers, upgrades, admin rights) is justified and documented.

What you get: tested and documented source code, deployed to a test network first.

  3. Audit before deployment

We review the contract, ours or another vendor’s, for known vulnerabilities: reentrancy, access control, oracle manipulation, excessive transaction costs. Every finding is ranked by severity, with its fix.

What you get: an audit report ranked by severity, then a check of the fixes.

  4. Integrate and operate

We connect the contract to your web and mobile applications: wallets, back end, event indexing, monitoring. After launch, we follow how it runs and prepare the changes its governance allows for.

What you get: an application connected to the contract in production, with monitoring and runbooks.

Sound familiar?

Are you exploring asset tokenisation?

Funds, bonds, company shares: Luxembourg law allows securities to be recorded on a blockchain. The hard part is rarely the token itself, but the rules around it: who may hold it, transfer it or freeze it.

We turn those rules into contracts, on a public or private chain, and work with your legal advisers, who remain the sole judges of compliance.

Is your smart contract about to go live?

The code is written, sometimes by another vendor, and the launch date is close. Once deployed, it can no longer be changed freely, and a vulnerability can cost the funds it holds.

We audit the contract before deployment, check the fixes, then prepare the launch: deployment, verified source code publication, monitoring.

Is this for you?

A good fit if…

  • Several parties need to share a ledger or a rule without depending on a single intermediary.
  • You are a financial institution, an insurtech or a regulated business, and must be able to justify every rule in the contract.
  • You want one team to cover the contract and the application that uses it, then maintain both over the long term.

Not the right fit if…

  • A conventional database will do: we will tell you so at the scoping stage.
  • You need an audit report required by an exchange or for a token listing: that is the job of specialised audit firms.

Frequently asked questions

Do I really need a blockchain?

Not always. It is warranted when several parties who do not fully trust each other must share a ledger, or when a proof must stay verifiable without going through you. If a shared database will do, the scoping says so, and you save yourself the project.

Public or private blockchain?

A public chain such as Ethereum can be verified by anyone, at the cost of visible data and transaction fees. A private chain such as Hyperledger Besu keeps data among authorised participants, which regulated organisations often prefer. The choice is made at scoping, depending on who needs to verify what.

How much does smart contract support cost?

Engagements start at €5,000 excl. VAT, with scope and price agreed up front. Development and integration are estimated at the end of scoping, before you commit to anything.

Who works on the project?

Antoine Detante, Deepy Consulting’s experienced blockchain architect. He speaks at conferences such as EthCC, Devoxx and Voxxed Days.

Does an audit guarantee there are no vulnerabilities?

No, and no serious auditor promises that. An audit reduces risk by looking for known vulnerabilities and logic errors. It is complemented by extensive testing, a gradual rollout and monitoring after launch.

Do you work outside Luxembourg, in Metz for example?

Our office is in Esch-sur-Alzette, right on the French border. We work on site in Luxembourg, Metz and Thionville. Beyond that, we work fully remotely and travel to France, Belgium or Luxembourg when a project calls for it.
